THE GO FUNGAL PODCAST
Go Fungal is a podcast for CEO’s, Marketers & Storytellers on a mission to execute meaningful work. Whether thats through business endeavors, storytelling or just company culture, Go Fungal is a one stop shop for those trying to show up as their most authentic self at work.
I took on the role as Creative Producer of Go Fungal in January 2025. As a newly promoted intern, I was eager to prove my abilities beyond production and repetitive tasks. It was more than a project to me, it was a blank canvas that gave me the opportunity to hone my skills in all areas of video production. Now, with the help of tech support and the Founder of our company who acts as the host, we churn out an episode weekly or bi-weekly.
I oversee the episode from ingest of media, all the way to release on LinkedIn. As Producer on this, I am responsible for ensuring that every episode tells a compelling story and accentuates the guests teachings. All while meeting the weekly deadline.
The materials from Go Fungal are primarily used as networking materials. Hence, they’ve garnered our company a sizable amount of business and we’ve seen twice the ROI than money we’ve spent on Go Fungal’s production. Plus, more then a few guests have received job offers, and business themselves as a result of being the podcast.
PRODUCTION ASSISTANT EXPERIENCE
As a production assistant at Fungi Media, I got the opportunity to assist DP’s Creative Directors and Producers in daily operation on set. The role takes strong communication skills, work ethic and well…a little bit of improvising.
The swing on set is a versatile crew member. As a swing I assisted in monitoring cameras, mic’ing up on screen talent and ensuring that set up and load out goes smoothly.

SCRIPT SUPERVISION EXPERIENCE
The role of a script supervisor is to ensure the narrative and visual content of a production blends seamlessly into the creators vision. In my experience, it also includes administrative and production skills. Including work with printers, trouble shooting schedule and timing of scenes and monitoring accuracy during filming.
